SOLO EPISODE FROM EVA

Gratitude is an important theme on this podcast.   In Episode 8, Eva even did an entire episode on 5 reasons to be grateful (show notes here)  In that episode, we shared many startling statistics about very difficult circumstances that so many of our fellow humans across the world find themselves living in.   For instance 785 million people go to bed hungry. Over 100 million are homeless. Tens of millions are living in war torn regions. Over 2.5 billion do not have access to clean water and sanitation.  And over 60% of the world’s population still has no internet access.

These numbers are tragic — and as you live your life day-to-day it is understandable that you are probably not thinking about just how lucky you are to be YOU.  In this episode, Eva shares two powerful gratitude tactics that she uses during in her daily life to remain grateful. She also gives an example of the power of images to attach emotion to the struggles of far too many children around the world.  One example that particularly impacted our family was the footage of Omran Daqneesh, who was pulled out of rubble after a bombing in Aleppo, Syria. The boy is alive and survived the attack – but you can see him sitting in an ambulance — — not even crying because he is in complete shock — covered in dust and blood.   We are including the video here and encourage you to consider sharing with your children, if you feel it would be appropriate.  It greatly impacted Eva and made her understand just how fortunate we are to have been born into such favorable circumstances.

If you are a long-time listener, you know that we are working on a course that we are going to launch in 2019 called the Dream Big Academy.   The first section of the course is all about this concept of self-belief. And we just completed this section!

We really want all of our Big Dreamers to have access to this information – so we are going to offer the first section for FREE for a limited time.  It is essentially its own course on confidence — with over 1 hour of videos with Eva teaching on the subject!  We hired an amazing illustrator who helped us with the videos and accompanying worksheets. We are so incredibly proud of this content and know it can have a huge impact.   We hear from so many listeners who say that their kids really connect with Eva since she is a peer – and we know that this same connection will carry over to the course.
